Yanchep & Two Rocks Tourism Network

The Yanchep Two Rocks Tourism Network (YTRTN) became incorporated, May 2010.

Since its inception as a small working group in 2006 a number of community persons and business owners have collaborated together to encourage sustainable tourism interest in the region.

This network has been meeting regularly and has initiated joint activities to benefit the growth of tourism in the area.

Several workshops during 2006-2008 featuring guest speakers such as Kate Lamont (Chair of Tourism WA and Board member of Tourism Australia) founder of the Swan Valley Tourism Association, Lesleigh Clarke from WA Tourism and Kim Francesconi from The Sunset Coast Tourism Association have been instrumental in delivering marketing concepts. In 2008 with the cooperation of Capricorn Village Joint Venture ( CVJV), Creating Communities (CCA) and the City of Wanneroo (COW) the YTRTN produced a promotional brochure.

In 2012 we created an updated brochure adding more sponsorship opportunities and additional business advertisements distributing another 60,000 through ‘Have a go Newspaper’ and 20,000 copies locally.

In 2013 we repeated the brochure process and hope to continue to do so on a yearly basis.
